To the Heap family. Bruce was a big part of my life, my brother in law, my friend. He was a big part of my growing up days and taught me much of what I know today. He will never be forgotten. I'm sorry you have lost such a special person. A man that was born with a hammer in his hand and a big heart

I have fond memories of playing rugby with Bruce, at the "Feilding Yellows". (Attached photo is of the 1974 Under 19 team, winners of the Manawatu Under 19 Championship)
