Bruce was a warm friendly person and a great Police Officer. I worked closely with him at the Porirua Police Station in the 70´s - 80´s. We both had an interest in sports - he was a very able sportsman and a well respected rugby referee over many years. As a Senior Sergeant for the bulk of his long service he worked

extremely well alongside the Detective branch who respected his advice and guidance. I enjoyed catching up with him in recent weeks and reminiscing about the good times we had in the Police, particularly running and rugby interests.
You are a top man - RIP Bruce.

Condolences to the family on Bruces passing.I was only thinking of Alison and Bruce a few weeks ago as Alison was my Godmother .Having the Boswells in Belvedere rd where i also grew up with my Brothers.Peter Boswell was also my late Younger Brother Donald Williams Godfather.Plus mr and Mrs Boswell were great family friends of not just my Parents Jack and Evon Williams but also my Grandparents Hugh and Carrie Barton from Hataitai bowling club.I so remember being babysat by Mrs Boswell and her teaching Don and i how to make paper dolls....I really wanted to catch base with Alison but have now learnt she also has passed .I remember her with lovely very dark hair .I last saw her and Bruce when they lived up on the hill above paramatta
Then they moved and we lost touch.. anyway much love to you all on their loss..regards Shona Kramer( Williams)

I was saddened to learn of BAA's passing - as a young Constable in the 70's he was my first Senior Sergeant. At least I got to spend some quality time with him recently. RIP Bruce
