We in Taranaki are greatly saddened to learn of Brian's death. A man's man. He was, of course, a Manawatu gold star holder and his open singles victory in 2014 was an obvious highlight. But up these milky ways, we well remember Brian's contribution to the famed foursome that included his brother Ron, Ian Monaghan and Brian Little, which in the last decade won the Taranaki Open (2016), and were runner-up three times (2011, 2013 and 2019).
