Elizabeth Arceneaux Obituary

It is with great sorry we announce the passing of Elizabeth ‘Liz” Arceneaux on October 26, 2024, at the age of 59. She was born in Baton Rouge and spent the majority of her life in Head of Island and St. Amant.

She’s a graduate of St. Amant Highschool where she played in the band from 1981 to 1985. She was a volunteer firefighter for Galvez-lake Fire Depart back in the 80’s. She worked at Totalenergies Chemical Plant for 27 years in the security department.

She’s preceded in death by her by her grandfather, Jack Milton Beauchamp, grandmother Julia Puckett Beauchamp, father, Camille Joseph Arceneaux, mother, Ione Arceneaux, brother Camille Joseph Arceneaux III, brother Pat Milton Arceneaux, sister Camilla ‘Candy” Lee Kogel, brother-in-law Willy Anthony Kogel and Hazel Angelle (longtime friend)

She is survived by nephews, great nephew aunts and friends.

Special thanks to the Central Guest House staff and nurses and the Life Source (Hospice) nurses and staff.

A Celebration of Life services will be held at the Metropolitan Community Church, 7747 Tom Dr. Baton Rouge, La on November 9th at 10:00.
