Bevan COLLINS Obituary

Dear Lyn and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Bevan's passing, and were touched to know you wanted us to hear of it. Distance makes things like this difficult, but just know how much we love and care you for you all, and feel your pain.
You guys were our example of young love and devotion to one another. We got engaged at 17 and 19 yrs old because you showed us we could.
We have wonderful memories of when you and friends came and camped in my parents backyard in the summer of 1973/74, and of other visits through the next many years.
Good friends are truly forever.
We love you and pray for your comfort.

Bevan always had a smile on his face and always took time to have a chat. I will miss seeing him on the ward and through the hospital corridors. He will be missed by many. Thinking of you all during this sad time. Xx

Hi Lyn - so sad and shocked to hear of Bevan's death - had lots of quick chats in the hospital corridors over many years and at the golf club since i started a few months ago - will miss his cheerfulness and kind soul much love

Dearest Lynette..I am totally in shock to learn of Bevans passing..knowing him since our Ross intermediate days and working with Bevan at the hospital for 10 years...we always caught up over the years in the hospital corridors and have a good chinwag about school and work...I'm just so sorry for your loss Lynette....you both have been together so long...farewell my old buddy...RIP....and love and condolences to you and your family

Spoke to Bevan every day at work. He was always cheerful and most of our conversations were about our out door pursuits - his golf and my running. My sincere sympathy to Lyn and family, very sad news Imogen Watson

It is with sadness that we advise the passing of our much loved brother and brother-in-law, Bevan, on 4 May 2016. Bevan lost his battle after undergoing heart surgery. He will be sadly missed by Alan and Janice (Hastings), John and Christine (Sydney), Raymond (Perth), Marilyn and Paddy (Napier), Tony and Clare (Palmerston North), Peter and Angie (Perth) and Barry and Debbie (Sydney). Rest in peace brother.
