Betty (nee Whetren):
Of Levin (formerly of Otaki).
Peacefully in Palmerston North Hospital on 5 May 2017 surrounded by family. In her 90th year. Treasured wife of the late Len. Precious mother and mother-in-law of Pauline & Roger Procter (Aotea), Ross & Gaylyn (Levin), Helen & Marco Janssen (Aotea), Rhonda (Apiti), Brenda & Paul Murrell (Feilding). Loved Granio of Rachel, Geoff & Jenny, and Sarah & James; Greg & Anna and Charissa & Murray; Anna and Holly; Stephen & Idrene; Robbie and Teresa. Loved Great-Gran of Lily and Ollie; Willow, Fox and Reef; and Aleksander.
"The memories we have are ours to treasure, to love and keep in our hearts forever."
A Farewell service for Betty will be held at Harvey's Chapel, 284 Oxford Street, Levin, on Friday 12 May at 2.00pm followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be much appreciated and may be left at the service.
