Bethel MARTIN Obituary

Of Woodville. Dearly loved wife of Rex (dec), and treasured sister and partner in crime of Margaret (dec). Loved Mum and mother-in-law to Ian and Lynnette (dec), and Margaret, Pamela and Ian, Ken and Claudia, Craig and Lisa. Loved Aunty and second Mum to Terry and Julie. A treasured Nana to her 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and adopted Mum, Nana, and friend to many. Bethel passed away peacefully at MetlifeCare Home, Palmerston North, aged 94 years. As usual she was as difficult as ever giving up her last breath moments before family made it to her bedside. Bethel will be remembered for her speak first, mostly in colourful language, and laugh later attitude. She will be sadly missed. In accordance with Bethel's wishes, a private burial has been held. Those who wish to celebrate Bethel's life with her family are welcome to join them for a cup of tea at the Woodville Fire Brigade Hall, 73 Ormond Street, Woodville, on Monday 16th December at 3pm. All messages to the family, c/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.
