Dear Whanau, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of a lovely heartfelt man. My mum Ngarikietini Rowe headed the welcome committee when he arrived in Marton. We love him as our family GP. I had the pleasure of receiving a video call from Dr Jonesy and Rona a few months ago. We chatted a while and he let me know about his health issue. I felt honored they chose to let me in on this private part of their life. I think it may of had something to do with me constantly messaging him to let him know I would be home in the new year lol and so wanted to catch up. I kept in touch with Dr Jonesy when mum got sick and then sadly passed away. Or Whanau left in Marton were so happy to find out they had moved back to the district and very sad to learn about his health. Dear Rona from us, the children of Heemi & Ngariki Rowe send you all our love from mum and dads stars shining brightly above to help guide Dr Jonesy home. Take care please Rona and please stay in contact with me when you can.
