Sincerest condolences to Joyce and the family, I worked for Barry for many years. He was an amazing gentleman who valued all staff and his customer's. He knew everyone by name and took an interest in all who worked for him. He developed a real family environment in work for his staff and we all respected him enormously. You will missed by many.

Barry was one of natures gentlemen. A genuine warm friendly person. We first met in 1977 when he took pity on us and kindly purchased frozen goods from our struggling frozen food distribution company for his New World. Since then, we have been privileged to be associated with Barry, Joyce and the extended Melody family through the Foodstuffs Co-operative network, where he remained a highly respected member. Our sincere condolences to all. He will be sadly missed.
