Terribly sad to hear of Barry´s passing, is now with his dear wife Jill. He helped us at a very sad time. Sincere condolences to his family and I trust special memories will help you in times ahead.

Bon voyage Bazza - Good heavens, here we are today relaxing on a Labour weekend and I receive a text from my brother John you'd left Dodge for good!

Gee whiskers, Dodge might be getting low on accommodation ..but my my Palmy's a lot lower in class with your leaving.

You were a class act old chappie from start to finish - whether it was social or professionally. The last evening I was at your house, 'long time no see, the inimitable Jim Bullock (RIP) dropped by among others and then, Jill my favorite hostess arrived home a little later. We poured another and shared stories of your dad & mine and other close friends and family, and of Kiwis that made this country the jewel that it is.

Such a quality evening Bazza - it truly was memorable to enjoy such hospitality again, huge laughter, no holds barred... what a blast!... a rare treat in this day and age.

Sorry to hear of Barrys passing. We go back many years and can recall happy times with Barry and Jill. Barry was always a caring and fun loving guy.

We got to know Barry when we purchased your home in Lincoln Terrace - he was always so willing to answer questions when we first moved in. Only last year he popped back around to help out with an issue with the fireplace. Was always good to see him and chat. Memories keep close those we love.

I´m so sorry to hear of Barry´s passing. I started working at Thomas Griggs and Sons in 1996 as a trainee Embalmer. He and the whole Griggs Family were wonderful to me both as employers and as friends. It´s sad that the last member of that Line of that Historic Funeral company has gone. My condolences to his Children and Family. Rest in Peace my old friend. Clyde Lake.

Raymond and I will cherish having drinks with him at his home a few weeks ago.he was always a gentleman with a storey and goes way back with our family like he will of a lot of others.
