Dearest Barry, your brave start in retail as a young man remains an inspiration to us. We have such lovely memories of visits to Palmerston North, when cousin Elizabeth welcomed us warmly into your home and you Barry spoilt us by letting us choose something we fancied from your store. We even stayed with you at your Rotorua house and enjoyed the nearby hot pools together. What wonderful memories! Thank you for loving the Lord, loving your family and loving us. It´s a great comfort to know that we will meet again. Until then, with much love and appreciation,
- Lindsay & Myk McKenzie and family

My sincere condolences, on behalf of the Yuile family, to the Gillespie family. Mr Gillespie was a fine man and showed great kindness especially to my mother when she lived in Terrace End. He also very kindly allowed my husband and I to stay in his family bach in Taupo when on our honeymoon 37 years ago. He truly went above and beyond. May he be resting in the loving arms of Jesus, his Saviour.
