Passed away peacefully on New Years day. Treasured wife of David for 66 years. Treasured Mother and Mother-In-Law of Graeme and Katherine, Barry and Elizabeth. Gran to James and Zane. All messages to the Hopkinson family, c/- 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North. A service for Barbara will be held at St James Presbyterian Church, 10 Daniell Street, Bulls, on Friday, 6 January 2023 at 1.00pm. Followed by interment at Clifton Cemetery.

Dear David and family.
Very sad to here of Barbara´s death. Have heaps of lovely memories over the years with her and our involvement with pony club and the Hunt Club, so many happy times.

Barbara, it is with great sadness that I read of your passing and my deepest sympathies go out to David and family. I will treasure the memories of the Saddle Club at Ohakea, that you and David were so involved with. Your passion for horses inspired a deep love for the animal and riding in so many of us on base. Your encouragement and advice meant that we tried, sometimes failed but always succeeded and were then full of pride. I will truly miss you. RIP
