Avon passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, aged 83 years. Loved wife of Trevor (deceased). Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Stephen (deceased), David and Bonnie, Brenda and Blair. Beloved Nanna to Katie, Shannon, Richard, John, Buckie and Otis. A celebration of Avon's life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 371 Gloucester Street, Taradale, Napier on Wednesday, 18 February at 1.30pm. Messages to the Wing Family, C/- PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

So very sorry to read of Avon's passing. Have such fond memories of th e tennis games and games of cards that continued into well into the night or early morning with the Monteith family in shannon.
