Arthur HODSON Obituary
HODSON, Arthur James:
Passed away peacefully at Ranfurly Residential Care Centre, Feilding, on Thursday June 22, 2017, in the loving presence of his family, aged 71 years. Much loved husband and best mate of Rita, loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Belinda (Tawa), Stephen and Theresa (Palmerston North), Wayne and Amanda (Taradale), loved Grandad of Corey, Nicola, Grace, Joe, Dylan, Ashley, and Riley. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Val and Neil, Rex and Margaret, Bruce (deceased) and Nett, Noel and Christine, David, Pam, Ken and Sue, Roy and the late Ted and Helen. A service for Arthur will be held at William Cotton & Sons Funeral Chapel, 29 Beattie Street, Feilding, on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at 11.00am, followed by private burial. In lieu of flowers donations to Arohanui Hospice, PO Box 5349, Palmerston North 4441 would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Thank you to all the care givers at Ranfurly, Feilding, Palmerston North Hospital and Arohanui Hospice for their excellent care shown to Arthur.

Rita I was so sorry to hear that Arthur had died. He was such a good and cheerful tramper. He will be missed.

Reading of Arthur's passing brought back memories of being your neighbour in Andrew Street, Feilding, when Arthur was a shearer and also had a milk run.
I trust you will know the comfort and peace of God at this time in the loss of a husband, father and grandfather.
