BODDINGTON, Arthur Ronald
BODDINGTON, Arthur Ronald April 4,1917-December 16, 2005
Arthur will be missed by his wife June, and loving children Jennifer, Michael and Timothy. Arthur served in the Royal Canadian Artillery, rank of Lieutenant, from 1942-1946 in France, Germany and Holland. A born athlete, he played championship hockey for U.T.S. and U of T, and starred at squash which he played into his 80th year at the Toronto Racquets Club, where he was a Life Member. Golf however, became his passion (three holes in one), and together with his wealth of friends, gave him years of happiness, while the Toronto Golf Club became his second home. 'The Bod' will be remembered as sportsman, raconteur, master of the 'one-liner' and a true friend. The family wishes to thank Dr. Lam, Lise Pontillo and the staff of Urgent Care at the Trillium Health Centre for their care and compassion, during Art's long stay. Special thanks to Dr. John MacLean for all his kindness. A private family service has been held. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Trillium Health Centre Foundation or the Toronto Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to the Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 905-279-7663.
