It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone
A part of us went with you
The day you went back home
If tears could build a stairway
And heartache make a lane
We'd walk our way to Heaven
And bring you back again
In life we loved you dearly
In death we loved you still
In our hearts you a hold a place
No one could ever fill
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as we are called one by one
The chain will link again
