Antonia BARNES Obituary
Antonia passed away at Waipuna Hospice in the morning of 1 October 2016, following a long and courageous battle, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Don, her children David and Carole and grandchildren Diva, Massimo and Lily.
She will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
We are particularly grateful to the loving care given by Tauranga Hospital and Waipuna Hospice. No flowers by request. Please instead make a donation to Waipuna Hospice in memory of Antonia. A celebration of Antonia's life will be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga on Thursday, 6 October 2016 at 2pm. Communication to the Barnes Family, c/o P.O. We were so sorry to hear of Antonia's passing. We have fond memories of our petanque battles with you Don...and the Christmas hospitality you both shared so generously with our "merry band!"
We had hoped to attend her farewell but circumstances don't permit.

Wish I could have met Antonia before she
