Anthony John "Tony" FELL

Anthony FELL Obituary

Born in Palmerston North on March 14, 1945, our strong and gentle Tony died peacefully at home on September 8, 2025. Loved and loving husband of Gaye (Ashton), loved father and father-in-law of Jonny and Maureen, Christopher and Nerida, Grandad Tony to Cody, Clayton and Alyssa. Son of the late Arthur and Joan Fell and brother of Gerald, Jenny (dec) and his twin, Rex (dec).
Tony loved his many Labradors and was 'the puppy whisperer" to many puppies, all represented by his current 'girls', Diva, Miri and Saila. We gratefully acknowledge Tony's Oncologist, Dr Richard Isaacs, for his incredible wisdom, care and compassion over an extended time and Janet Neale for her understanding and support. Thank you also to the Community Nurses at Arohanui Hospice, especially Di Boon. Their genuine concern for all of us was much appreciated. Tony was farewelled privately and in the summer, in line with Tony's plans, we will celebrate him with a 'Friends, Family and Labradors' get together at his much loved home, 'Mahina.'
Please, no flowers, however you may wish to consider a donation to Arohanui Hospice Service Trust for their care, not only of Tony, but also in previous times, his siblings, Jenny and Rex.
