Anne RICHARDS Obituary
Of Wellington, formerly of Bristol, England, and of Palmerston North. On Friday 5 August 2022. Dearly loved wife of the late Prof Ted Richards, much loved mother of Mark (dec), Penelope Holden, Sarah Mayo, Peter, Elizabeth and Emma, and Grandma of her 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10.30am in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Broadway, Palmerston North, on Monday 8 August 2022, followed by burial at Kelvin Grove Cemetery. Vigil prayers, stories and reminiscences of Anne's well lived and rich life will be in the same Church on Sunday 7 August 2022 at 7.15pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Caritas would be appreciated. "Deo Gratias"

Dear Penny, Sarah, Liz, Emma and Pete. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be with you today at Anne's requiem. I am sure it would have been a beautiful liturgy and a wonderful farewell to her. She was a much loved and valued friend of mine and someone I looked to as an example of deep commitment both to her family and the church. Anne contributed much to the parish in so many different ways and ministries and I am sure she will be long remembered for that. Anne's love for all of you and extended family was very obvious and she cherished each one unconditionally. She was a special part of my life and I valued her friendship deeply. May she be at peace now, reunited with her beloved Ted and Mark.

I have very fond memories of Anne and I know she was a good friend to my mum, Florence. I'm sorry I won't be able to make the Requiem Mass but my thoughts will be with you on the day. Thinking of you in this difficult time - Emmy
