Auntie Alma - always so elegant and with a beautiful smile. To me she was always the star of the many musicals in which she performed at the Opera House.
Guy Fawkes nights at the farm were always special events as too the many (every) Sunday visits from some or all of the family, with Uncle Wally milking with dad so that mum could have the night off to cook!!
Alma, she was so proud of your skating achievements.
I am sure there will be a big sing-along happening "up there" very soon.
Thinking of you all today.
Ingrid & Deborah, see you soon.
Carolyn, see you on your next visit Down Under.
Love from all in Shirriffs Road

Alma Rumsey - now there's a name from my past. I was in some Palmerston North Operatic Soc. shows namely "My Fair Lady" and "Brigadoon". Alma was very much loved by all and enjoyed sharing her talents.
My deepest sympathy to you in your loss. She sounds like she lived life to the full and achieved a great age into her 90s.

It is with such sadness we say farewell to our dearest friend and work colleague. Alma, you were so loyal and dedicated with the best sense of humour which filled our office with laughter and love; it was never the same when you left. What an interesting life you had. We wonder what stories you will tell as you pass through the pearly gates!. You are now at peace - fly free dear Alma. With love always from Val, Darrell and Jeanie at South Pacific Tours.

Once was a neighbour from 1947 to around 1965, and those were marvellous times. The fun we all had - our family of 3 boys & Robyn and the your family of 3 girls & Hadley. The memories come flooding back - my mum and Alma off to the operatic society and Walter fixing the girls skates. sad to hear the news, but Alma's life was one full of adventure and on the go. Noma & I send our sincere sympathies to you all. Another small missing link in the long chain of life.

HI "girls"!! I have often where each one of you are and where Mum had got to over the years ...and this certainly is a sad way to find out. I am certainly sad to read this, and please accept my sincere sympathies to you all. I well remember Mum for her pleasant smile and cheerful manner, and would hope that she enjoyed that same
Disposition all of her life. I am also sorry to know that you had also lost Hadley. I worked with Dad (Wally) at Steelfort Eng and well remember some of you popping in from time to time including Mum...I was in the little front office. My love and thoughts are with you and your families and trust you will be strong in your support of each other..kindest regards. Ivan Hillsdon....Palmerston North
