Alison HARNETT Obituary

HARNETT,
Alison Clare (Lynch):
Passed away peacefully on Thursday 16th November 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Ali was dearly loved and looked after by her husband Dan and was adored by her parents, Jean and the late Leo Harnett. Ali was a 'one of kind' mother to Andrea and Adena, Natalie and Ben, Emily, Carl and Anna-Marie. She was a loving grandmother to Jessica, Georgia and Cobie, Brayden and Kate, Kyle and Tonisha. Ali was dearly loved by her four sisters and their husbands and her two younger brothers and their wives, along with her many nieces, nephews and godchildren who she adored. Ali's life will be celebrated with a Requiem Mass at The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North on Monday 20th November 2017 at 10:30am, followed by a private cremation with her family.
"You have two hands, one to help yourself and the other to help others. What will we do without our doctor, lawyer, accountant and all the other specialty roles you played."

Deepest sympathy to you all, Dan, Andrea, Natalie, Emily and families.Fondest memories of fun and friendship at Linton while the girls were growing up. For such a petite woman, Ali was larger than life and extended kindness and generosity to all who came within her radius. I am unable to attend the requiem mass but my prayers and thoughts are there. May Ali rest in peace. Rosie Estall
