Alison BIRD Obituary
Of Palmerston North. Passed away peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital, on Saturday 25 April 2020. Aged 91 years. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of John & Janet. Dearly loved aunt of Malcolm & Jeanette, Bruce & Nicky and families. Messages to the Bird family, C/- 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North. Due to the current lockdown restrictions a private cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A lovely lady with a big heart and a great sense of humor. I have some wonderful memories of her over the last 12 years that I knew her when I worked as the gardener at summerset palmerston north. May you rest in peace Alison xx

Very sorry to hear of Alison's passing. I have known her since 1970 when we worked together for the Health Department. We had always kept in touch although spasmodically over the last few years. I will always remember her ready smile and golden advice on how to give up smoking. Rest well Alison. Love Diana

Wonderful memories o a beautiful lady who was always willing to talk and had a wide interest. My connection with Alison was through the Methodist church and the Women's Fellowship. Blessings to the family at this time of loss.

So sorry to hear of the passing away of Alison. My memories were of a very special and serene lady, she will be missed. I was very young when she was a part of my life as she was a close friend of my mother Ann Blanchard. with love Janet Stewart ( nee Blanchard)
