SMITH, Albert James:
After a long and courageous battle, Albert (Bert) Smith passed away peacefully in Levin on 7 January 2022, surrounded by loving family. Much cherished husband to Sue, father to Kane & Tesha, Aidan & Emily, Alana & Ali, and Jane & Craig. Loved brother of Jill, Kath, Michael, and the late Lawrence. Favourite Uncle to Lawrence, Vicky, Bevan, Amanda, and Paula. Cool Grandad to Caelan, Amelia, Luke, Olivia, and Sam. A celebration will be held at 11.00am, Tuesday 11 January, at I.C. Mark, The Funeral Home, 545 Queen St, Levin. The service will be live streamed and available for viewing for those who cannot attend on on I.C.Mark web site. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
