Alan WATKINS Obituary
Of Palmerston North on Tuesday 3rd July 2018, peacefully at home, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Phyllis. Much loved Dad of Dean and Justine, Neal and Julia, Kerry and Karen. Special Grandad to Brad, Katie, Ron; Isabel; Jason, Michael and Logan.

Messages to the Watkins family, c/- PO Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441. A service for Alan will be held at the Terracehaven Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Monday 9th July 2018 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery.

It's with sadness that I hear the news of a much loved neighbor and friend. So many memories will always be cherished in my heart, it's not everyday that people are not just neighbors but part of the family. Will have a beer in honour. Dean, Neil and Kerry, wish I could be there but know my thoughts will be with you.

Aff was always such a great character when he operated the powdercoating line at Steelfort.
Always good for a joke or to play a trick on someone.
However the best trick was played on him when some one left a flagon of cold tea on the back of Aff's motorbike which he thought was beer - until he went to drink it.
