Alan PRATT Obituary

PRATT, Alan Roy:
Suddenly at Wellington Hospital, on 21st August 2021, just short of his 80th birthday. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Helen. Much loved father of Tony (Wellington), the late Kathryn Taylor (Wairarapa), Rachel and David McCullough (Lower Hutt); Loved brother of Barry and Joanna (Auckland), brother-in-law of John (Titahi Bay), Ross (Palmerston North), Lynsie (Waikawa); Adored Poppa to Logan, Joshua and Amy-Lee Taylor, and to Benjamin McCullough. Dear friend of Phoebe and Harry McCoy. Uncle of Andrew and Vicky, Simon and Jan, Timothy and Cindy, Liam and Sam and their families. Fifty year member of the NZ VCC, and life member of the NZ Crossley Register. A dear friend to so many more. A family funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021. A service celebrating Alan's life will be held in Kãpiti later in the year, we would love to see his friends come together then. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the causes he supported â€" Wellington Children's Hospital, Lions Club, Alzheimers NZ, and the NZ Cancer Society â€" would be appreciated. Messages to "The Pratt Family", PO Box 119, Paraparaumu 5254.

Dear Al. The rugby wasn't the same tonight without your company. We will miss our shared rugby dinners at each others homes that we have enjoyed with you over the years we have been up In Kapiti. I hope you are now reunited with Helen and Katz. We will miss you. Rest easy. Lynne and John Edgar Waikanae.
