Alan LARSEN Obituary

I knew Alan, and even Gae, when I was just a child in Stokes Valley... I guess it would have been '71-72, I was just a little kid, but he showed me Bowie and Dylan - for that I am ever grateful.. RIP Mr. Larsen

We`ve only just learned of Alan`s passing, and so sorry to hear of it. He had a close connection to Debbie`s family, and was so integral in helping with our late Sam`s affairs. Would have liked to be there to farewell him.Helluva nice bloke.

So sorry to learn of Alan's passing. So many memories during our path through Gonville and Wanganui Boys school days. We had a good catch up at a reunion late last year. Condolences to brother Stephen, children and grand children.

Alan was a very generous and kind man who possessed unshakeable integrity. He greatly enriched those he crossed paths with and the world is truly poorer for his passing. I will never forget the help he was to me and my family and I will always be thankful for his kindess.

Alan was an incredibly good friend for many decades of my father, Craig Kinniburgh and was amazingly good to Dad as he was dying of cancer. My heart goes out to Alan's family, as they have lost a truly remarkable man of integrity, empathy and kindness.

My sincere condolences to the family on the passing of Alan. The Larsen family were our next door neighbours. And also from Gonville School.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You were very lucky to have such a gentle, generous and kind Dad and Grandad. Forever grateful for his help with my Dad (Craig kinniburgh). One of the good guys.

Our family is so very sad to hear of Alan's passing. He was one of life's very good people, a truly good man. My condolences to Kurt and Vanessa, and also to his colleagues, Warren and Daniel. I worked for Alan for several years, then enjoyed many visits to Balcairn, where my mother-in-law lived and worked as Alan's gardener. I am very sad at this loss. Rest in Peace Alan, and again, thank you for everything you did for us and for Chrystal. Namaste.
