Sorry for my belated message as we are over seas and I have just heard the news about Alan - I am so sad to hear this - Alan was a top guy! So pleased I got to see him at the Wrightsons Gathering in Feilding a few months back.

Such fond memories of our time in Feilding with you both. Sending you all our love and thoughts - take care and treasure all those wonderful memories

So saddened to hear of Alans passing. Remembering the great times at work and on the rugby field"Hizzy" was always a delight to be with. A top stock agent and auctioneer Alan was held in great respect by so many.
Never a dull moment when with Hizzy. Our apologies as we cannot be at Taumaranui today. Im very grateful to have known and worked with him. Rest in Peace.

Very saddened to hear of Hizzys passing my deepest sympathy to his family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Hizzy through the livestock agency business.
He was a true professional and a great auctioneer and great guy.
I always enjoyed catching up with him at the King Country Stud Bull Sales for a chat and a laugh.
RIP Hizzy You we´re one of the Best.

Hey Arlene, very sorry to read of Alan's passing- he was always nice to me as Paul's friend- I can still remember when you guys got together and then rather quickly got hit hitched-Alan was barely 20-and boý, what a goodlooking ýoung dude he was-,kinda like a male version of Megan. And I know Doug was really proud of Alan-he excelled at two of the things Doug loved-boxing and snooker.And the same with Mrs H- very proud of Alan also
I thought of Alan as a model of stabiliy-in both his professional and personal lives
