Deepest sympathy to all the family.
I worked with Peter from the early 70's till approx. 1983.
At Longburn and Feilding.
He was a real mentor for us as meat inspectors, especially for those of us on the front line.
These were real trying times for an industry trying to achieve high standards for our export markets.
Peter was always very level headed and worked hard to find practical solutions.
Very astute with a fine sense of humour, great team player.
I can only hope he received the recognition from the industry he served so well.
Remarkable memory even in his last days when I spoke to him.
Gone forever but not forgotten.
Betty and Tony McGreal.
Waitara.
