Gillian Clare (Gill):
Passed away peacefully after a brief stay at Ranfurly Manor Rest Home, Feilding, on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, aged 84 years. Dearly beloved mother of Karen Manson and son-in-law Richard Barton (Bexhill-on-Sea, UK). Loved stepmother of the late Richard Absolon. Loved sister of Felicity Wallis (San Francisco). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gill's name to Forest & Bird at www.forestandbird.org.nz or may be left in the chapel foyer. Messages to the Absolon family, 69 Fairview Avenue, Feilding 4702, or may be left on the tributes page at www.beauchamp.co.nz. A service to celebrate the wonderful life of Gill will be held at the Feilding Funeral Chapel, 282 Kimbolton Road, Feilding, on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019, at 11.00am. Guests are requested to wear any colour except black!

I was so sad to hear of the passing of gill.I meet GIll on the BOT many years ago and instantly liked her.GIll was a kind ,intelligent,inspiring independant woman who did so much for our small rural school and community.Im just so sorry we never did catch up properley again lovely lady after our phone call
